El Dorado Senior Is a Youth Ambassador

El Dorado High School senior Crissy Lynn Sammons has been added to Placentia’s list of Youth Ambassadors.

Six students, including Sammons, have been selected for the program, aimed at recognizing outstanding youth in the community.

Sammons is a varsity cheerleader and active with her church youth group. She also played basketball at her school.

Well-liked for her outgoing nature, Sammons’ friendly and optimistic attitude made her a good candidate for the recognition, said Kathryn Warren, advisor for El Dorado’s cheerleading squad who nominated Sammons for the program.
