From Times Wire Reports

A battle between a U.S. brewing giant and its smaller Czech rival over whose beer can be called Budweiser ended in stalemate in Britain. The High Court said Anheuser-Busch Cos. Inc. and Czech-owned Budejovicky Budvar Narodni Podnik were both entitled to register British trademarks in the famous name. The Czech firm had called its beer, widely considered one of the world’s top brews, Budweiser Budvar but since 1967 has given prominence to the Budweiser tag.
