Bank Robber Strikes Laguna Hills Branch
A man robbed a bank in Laguna Hills on Monday afternoon and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
The incident was at the Bank of America branch on Paseo de Valencia, authorities said. The robber presented a note to a teller at 2:10 p.m., was given cash and drove away, said Lt. Keith Brown of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
Witnesses described the robber as a white male in his 30s, tall and slender with a mustache.
The suspect’s car might have been a light blue Ford Escort, Brown said.
