Westcorp Exec Quits

Westcorp Inc.’s Andrey R. Kosovych has resigned as vice chairman and has stepped down from the boards of Westcorp and its Western Financial Bank and WFS Financial Inc. units, effective today, the Irvine financial services company said Thursday.
Kosovych, who had been the company’s investment banker since 1985 and a board member since April 1997, plans to pursue interests closer to New York, the company said.
