Murder Trial Begins for Zodiac Suspect

A man accused of being the Zodiac killer, whose crime spree terrorized and intrigued New York City in the early 1990s, went on trial on three counts of murder. The trial of Heriberto “Eddie” Seda, 30, began on a dramatic note in the Queens borough courtroom when he demanded new lawyers. State Supreme Court Judge Robert Hanophy threatened to restrain the distraught Seda, who faces three charges of murder and one charge of attempted murder.
