Hyundai Semiconductor America has placed a $20-million order for multiple memory test systems with Teradyne Inc.

The systems will be built in Teradyne’s Agoura Hills facility.

The Marlin-platform memory testers will be shipped to Hyundai’s plant in Eugene, Ore., beginning in the third quarter.

Hyundai officials said they went with the Teradyne product because it can test 64 devices at once.
