Eltron Label Printers Add Asian Character Sets

Eltron International in Simi Valley, which manufactures thermal label and plastic card printers, announced that Chinese, Japanese and Korean character sets are available in new versions of its LP/TLP 2642, Eclipse LP/TLP and TLP 2046 label printers.

Eltron officials said specially designed printer main-processor boards accommodate large pictographic language and font sets in the new versions. The printers interface directly with Chinese-, Japanese- and Korean-based applications to print on-demand labels and tags with these languages.

Eltron produces transfer bar code label and receipt printers, secure ID printing systems, bar code printing systems, plastic card printers, thermal ribbons, label media and related accessories.
