‘Seinfeld’

Patt Morrison’s May 13 column missed the mark for me. Morrison came across as an elitist snob; these “anointed ones” always seem to know what is best for the rest of us.

Morrison admits to viewing “Seinfeld” once. I have no problem with her not liking it--that is understandable and acceptable--but she went to a building where no English was spoken and interviewed the tenants about their views on the show.

The Seinfeld show is about something. It is about the little incidents in many people’s lives. Millions of viewers agree. That is probably the problem--how can it be any good when the masses like it?

Her best line was her statement that she has small knowledge about “Things Seinfeld.” Well, she got that part right.

I’ve never had a Big Mac. I don’t own a cell phone, laptop or Web site. I didn’t see “Les Miz,” “Phantom” or “Titanic.”

Please tell me: What’s a Seinfeld?
