Police released the name and photo Monday of a man who is suspected in the death of a man in December in a gang-related confrontation at a southwest Los Angeles liquor store.

Tegar Alphonso Henriques, 23, is accused of shooting down Ronald Alexander at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Brighton Avenue about 6:20 p.m. on Dec. 17, said Los Angeles Police Det. Charles Tizano.

“He walked into the store, asked the other man where he was from, a fistfight ensued, then he chased down and shot Alexander in the street,” Tizano said, adding that Henriques is considered armed and dangerous.
