* Senior Engineering Group, a British engineering company, agreed to buy San Diego-based Jet Products Corp. for $56 million in cash and shares. Jet Products makes precision rings and tailpipe parts for planes, space rockets and communication satellites. It employs 320 people and had sales last year of $45 million. The company is the largest in a series of acquisitions by Senior Engineering, which has acquired three other U.S. aerospace parts makers and made nine acquisitions in seven countries this year.
