Four days of wine and art, wine and food, wine and music and wine all by itself. It’s the seventh annual Santa Barbara Wine Auction, and it starts Thursday with the downtown Santa Barbara wine tasting and art gallery tour, 5 to 8 p.m. Friday night is set aside for black-tie patron dinners, at which chefs and vintners serve their finest in private homes. On Saturday, the rare and fine wine auction takes place at Chateau Miraflores, the main house of festival sponsor Music Academy of the West. After the auction is a reception hosted by the Santa Barbara County Vintners Assn. The auction preview will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, followed at 2 by the auction. The grand food and wine tasting, also at Chateau Miraflores, is Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
