ORANGE COUNTY EARNINGS

Gish Biomedical Inc.: The Irvine manufacturer of disposable surgical products reported a net loss of $269,200, or 8 cents a share, for the first fiscal quarter, contrasted with net income of $90,500, or 3 cents a share, for the same period last year. Sales for the quarter ended Sept. 30 declined 9% to $4.8 million from $5.3 million.
