Brooklyn Judge

What a joy to read an article about a Brooklyn criminal court judge, Charles Posner, who has a heart and cares (Nov. 5). His honor has been where these troubled youths have tread. What a joy to see Judge Posner’s power, money and status have not made him forget the less fortunate and the troubled youth of today’s chemically infested world.

If other judges took the same approach, fewer teenagers would be imprisoned. Both parents have to work today, not to mention parents who never should have had children, so that the child suffers abuse, verbally or physically. Judge Posner takes the time do a study and a history on the teens who come before him. I commend this fine man.
