Concerning Cristina

To criticize “El Show de Cristina” (Letters, Nov. 15) is one thing, but to slam Cristina herself shows me Mark Martinez and Anita Flores know very little about this compassionate, caring person. An egomaniac? Cristina, behind the scenes, does as much for AmFAR and those with AIDS-related problems as Elizabeth Taylor (with less fanfare). She is a gifted woman who must be doing something right, otherwise she wouldn’t have a following.

Cristina deserves praise and appreciation for her guts, activism and longevity in a fickle industry. Brava Cristina!
