Jewish National Fund Welcomes New Board

Long Beach broker Jerry Kaufman has been installed as the president of the Jewish National Fund of Orange County/Long Beach. New board members also were appointed: Alice Alkosser, Adele Alterman, Gerson Jerus, Ora Levenzon, Carol Ludmir and Ruth Mervis.

Kaufman is the principal of JSK Financial Services, Inc., a mortgage broker and financial services company. He and his wife, Bryna Kane, have three children. The family belongs to Temple Beth Shalom in Long Beach and support Hebrew Academy in Huntington Beach.

“I welcome aboard our new president and board members,” said JNF regional director Sam Perchik. “This coming year is going to be a very special one as we join efforts toward the important task of developing the Negev Desert and the infrastructure of Israel.”
