Singapore will begin recycling burial sites next month as graveyard space disappears in the tiny city-state, a newspaper reported Friday.

The Environment Ministry has imposed a 15-year limit for burials at Singapore’s largest cemetery, after which the remains will either be cremated or reinterred in smaller plots, the Straits Times reported.

Chao Chu Kang cemetery will soon be the densely populated island republic’s only graveyard, as other burial sites are cleared for development.
