The Organization for the Needs of the Elderly is seeking cheerful volunteers to assist at its Sunday morning farmers market. The Los Angeles Family Housing Corp., a nonprofit organization in North Hollywood that provides housing and supportive services to homeless families and individuals, needs volunteers to assist in upcoming events, food drives and community projects. The Boys & Girls Club of Burbank is seeking volunteers to spend one hour a week reading to children who are club members.
