* San Francisco-based Chevron Corp., the fourth-largest U.S. oil company, said it awarded an international consortium contracts totaling $400 million to develop the Kuito oil field offshore of Angola. A group headed by Single Buoy Mooring Production Contractors, a Swiss offshore energy development company, won the contracts. Single Buoy’s partners are Asea Brown Boveri, a Swiss-Swedish electrical engineering company, and Coflexip Stena Offshore, a French engineering and construction company.
