Retire the Phrase

It’s time to retire the phrase “you just don’t get it” from public discourse. If it was ever meaningful it has long since deteriorated into an insult meaning nothing more than “you are wrong because you don’t agree with me.”

And if you disagree with my letter . . . (you can fill in the rest).
