Agency to Get Funds for Recycling Bins
The Costa Mesa Sanitary District will receive $18,350 from the California Department of Conservation to purchase recycling receptacles.
Containers will be placed in public areas citywide to promote beverage container recycling. A kickoff event to showcase the program will be announced soon.
The conservation department received 79 applications for $1,343,860 in grant funding. Costa Mesa Sanitary was among 27 applicants to receive funding.
