Kenny Estrada; Carpenter at Fairgrounds

Ventura resident Kenny Estrada died at his home Tuesday. He was 40.

Estrada was born Feb. 14, 1958, in Los Angeles. He had lived in Ventura County for the past 35 years.

Estrada was a carpenter at the fairgrounds in Ventura. In his free time, he liked to go fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed watching sports on television and participating in athletic events.

Estrada is survived by his parents, Manuel and Eloise Castenada of Ventura; two brothers, Arthur and Larry Estrada, both of Ventura; a sister, Cecilia Moreno of Ventura, and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a visitation from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at Joseph P. Reardon Funeral Home in Ventura. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park in Ventura.
