The Costa Mesa Sanitary District, the city and the Orange County Conservation Corps are sponsoring the event.
Funding comes from the California Integrated Waste Management Board.
The tire roundup goes from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the city yard, 2310 Placentia Ave.
