Alyn Corp.: The Irvine maker of customized metal matrix composite products incurred a third-quarter net loss of $3 million, or 28 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $1.9 million, or 18 cents a share, for the year-earlier period. Revenue rose to $602,000 from $78,000.
