Leaders of the FDX Corp. pilots union voted unanimously to seek strike authorization from members. Ballots will be sent this week to the 3,200 members of the Fedex Pilots Assn. The union board of directors hopes to complete the balloting by Nov. 20. The union could call a strike during December--the company’s busiest season. Union officials say they are seeking a 24% pay increase over three years, whereas Memphis-based FDX, formerly Federal Express, has offered 18% over five years.
