ORANGE COUNTY EARNINGS

BYL Bancorp: The Yorba Linda-based holding company for the BYL Bank Group said that net income for the third quarter increased 89% to $1.4 million, or 52 cents a share, from $733,000, or 29 cents a share, a year ago. Financial information for 1997 and 1998 has been restated to reflect the acquisition in May of DNB Financial, the holding company of De Anza National Bank.
