Renowned Attorney’s Memorial Announced
Family members and friends of Orange County defense attorney Keith C. Monroe, who died Oct. 15 of cancer, announced Tuesday that a memorial service for him will take place Thursday.
Monroe, 69, was well-known for a landmark case that he argued successfully before the U.S. Supreme Court in 1969. The ruling resulted in limits on the government’s right to search a crime suspect’s home without a warrant.
The service will be at 5 p.m. at Municipal Court, 700 Civic Center Drive West, Santa Ana, Department 1. Information: (714) 734-0282.
