Chapman Loses in Overtime in Men’s Soccer

Michael Bradbury scored in the seventh minute of overtime to lift host San Diego State past Chapman, 2-1, in a nonconference men’s soccer game Thursday.

Nick Tolman broke a scoreless tie for Chapman (7-5-1), scoring in the 65th minute off an assist from Brad Carter. But Dan Gotvald scored in the 75th minute to send the game into overtime. San Diego State is 6-8-1.

In Big West Conference women’s volleyball:

Boise State 3, UC Irvine 1--Tandie Wade had 16 kills and 15 digs and Larissa Carter had 14 kills and 19 digs for Irvine (7-16, 3-6), which lost, 15-12, 10-15, 15-9, 15-11. Boise State is 12-8, 5-4.

Idaho 3, Cal State Fullerton 0--Alisa Geddes had 13 kills and six digs and Allison Anderson added 38 assists and 11 digs for visiting Fullerton (7-13, 1-8), which lost, 15-7, 15-13, 15-6. Jessica Moore had 14 kills and eight digs for Idaho (11-11, 4-5).
