Amplicon’s 1st-Quarter Net Income Climbs 15%

Amplicon Inc., the Santa Ana computer lessor, reported that net income for the first fiscal quarter increased 15% to $4.6 million, or 37 cents a share, from $4 million, or 32 cents a share, for the first quarter of fiscal 1998. Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 declined 37% to $50.1 million from $80 million.
