ORANGE COUNTY EARNINGS

BNC Mortgage Inc.: The Irvine specialty finance company reported net income of $2.5 million, or 42 cents a share, for the first fiscal quarter ended Sept. 30, an increase of 47% from the $1.7 million, or 41 cents a share, for the like period last year. Revenue gained 60% to $15.4 million from $9.6 million.
