ORANGE COUNTY EARNINGS

First Alliance Corp.: The Irvine consumer finance company reported that net income for the third quarter fell to $3.8 million, or 21 cents a share, from $8.2 million, or 37 cents a share, for the corresponding period in 1997. Revenue declined 3% to $22.6 million from $23.4 million.
