Discussion to Focus on Nuclear Weapons
The Global Peace and Justice Committee and Campus Ministry group at Cal Lutheran University will co-host a discussion todaythur on nuclear weapons.
The discussion, titled “The New Millennium of Nuclear Weapons,” will be held at 7 p.m. at the university’s Nelson Room, 60 W. Olsen Road.
The discussion will be led by Cindy Pile, education director of the Nevada Desert Experience. Pile will discuss nuclear weapons testing in the United States, treaties that forbid nuclear testing and current nuclear testing in India and Pakistan.
