Residency for Widow

Let me get this straight: Jasmin Salehi loses her right to stay in the U.S. after her hard-working husband, a citizen, gets murdered on the job at Denny’s (Oct. 22). Then it takes the House, the Senate and President Clinton’s involvement to get approval for the widow to stay in the U.S. I don’t know if I should be grateful that democracy works or furious that no one at any level in the INS seems to have an ounce of common sense or compassion.
