A company that helps people prepare for the law school admissions test said it has opened the first school offering a juris doctor degree wholly online. Los Angeles-based Concord University School of Law is owned by New York-based Kaplan Educational Centers. The school (https://www.concord.kaplan.edu) lacks accreditation, which means most graduates will be able to take the bar or practice only in California. The school said the courses are also designed to draw people looking for legal education in general.
