Microsoft Corp. signed one-year agreements worth more than $60 million to feature four Internet search services on its Microsoft Network Web sites, as the No. 1 software maker beefs up its Internet services. Microsoft said Compaq Computer Corp.’s Alta Vista, Infoseek Corp., Lycos Inc. and CNet Inc.’s Snap search services will be available on the MSN network along with the company’s own search service, MSN Web Search. Users will be able to choose among the services when searching the Internet from MSN. MSN is both the company’s Internet access service and the name of its network of Web sites.
