Share

Anaheim-based Odetics Inc. has purchased a British developer of video browsers for the broadcast industry in an all-stock deal worth more than $1 million, the company said Friday.

Odetics, a communications equipment supplier for television broadcasts, video security and telecommunications, said the acquisition of International Media Integration Services Ltd. strengthens its position in the broadcast automation market.

The two companies have collaborated on products previously, most recently with a system that allows users to find, track and view video material on networks using Internet protocols.
