Increased revenue in the entertainment and graphics/visual effects operations of Netter Digital Entertainment helped propel the North Hollywood-based company to post record revenue for the fiscal year that ended June 30.
But the company, which provides special effects to the movie and TV industries and produces the show “Babylon 5,” still posted a slight drop in earnings: from $190,000 or 6 cents per diluted share in the 1997 fiscal year to $161,000 or 4 cents per diluted share in the 1998 fiscal year.
Revenue for the 1998 fiscal year for the company was $32.3 million, compared with $25.7 million in revenue for its previous fiscal year.
