Some of the Business and Economic Events Happening Today
The hot topic of protecting privacy in cyberspace will be the theme of a three-day conference, “Computers, Freedom and Privacy 1999,” that begins today in Washington. Speakers include Barry Steinhardt of the American Civil Liberties Union and George Vradenburg, senior vice president of America Online, and topics include global surveillance of the Internet.
