Chief Executive Fred Sturm said the increase in sales, as well as cost-containment programs, contributed to the company’s turning a profit in the fourth quarter.

“The increase in fourth-quarter sales as compared to the prior-year fourth quarter was primarily a result of increases in satellite product sales,” Sturm said.

California Amplifier designs and manufactures amplifiers, down-converters, antennas and integrated products for the reception of microwave signals.
