VENTURA COUNTY PEOPLE

* Cris Fulwider, vice president and commercial loan officer with Los Robles Bank, has been promoted to Thousand Oaks office manager. Lorraine Salas, executive assistant to the president / CEO, has been promoted to assistant vice president. Note department supervisor Tom Chavira will oversee bank compliance, a new position.

Los Robles Bank has branches in Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village and Camarillo.

* George Tabata has joined Bank of Ventura as a vice president and commercial loan officer. He has 20 years of commercial banking and SBA lending experience.

Bank of Ventura is at 5808 Telephone Road, Ventura.

* James C. Nicoll, career agent with New York Life, was named to a three-year term on the board of directors of the Ventura Chamber of Commerce. He has been a chamber member for seven years and is an authorized agent for the chamber-endorsed group health insurance plan.

Nicoll specializes in family and business insurance as well as financial and retirement planning.
