MAKING CONNECTIONS

Share

If you’re trying to prepare for potential problems caused by the year 2000 technology problem, also known as Y2K or the millennium bug, city and federal officials may be able to help.

The city of Los Angeles has a Web site at https://www.cityofla.org/year2K that includes helpful tips, information about potential effects of Y2K and links to other related Web sites. If you do not have Internet service, call (213) 228-7272 for the nearest city library with Internet access.

Residents can also pick up copies of the city’s “Y2K and You” brochure at branch libraries, police stations and other selected municipal facilities.
