Two exceptional equestrians will be making their debut at a benefit horse show for the Fran Joswick Riding Center on May 2 at Rancho Sierra Vista Stables.

Rachelle Leopold, a 16-year-old with cerebral palsy, and John Zigler, a 62-year-old who has been blind for 11 years, will compete in a dressage competition against able-bodied riders. Dressage is a sport in which horse and rider perform a series of intricate movements. Leopold and Zigler both train at the center, which offers therapeutic riding programs for people with disabilities. Rancho Sierra Vista is at 33959 Doheny Park Road. Information: (949) 240-8441.
