COSTA MESA

The first Strawberry Festival to be dished up by the Costa Mesa Certified Farmers Market will take place Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Orange County Fairgrounds on Fair Drive. There will be bushels of shortcake, chocolate-dipped strawberries and free recipes. The first 50 people through the door will get free strawberries.
