The Costa Mesa provider of home health care services said it earned $15.6 million, or 30 cents a share, in the first quarter, contrasted with a net loss of $6.6 million, or 13 cents a share, for the first quarter of 1998. Revenue declined 9% to $228.3 million from $250.5 million.
