The Santa Ana maker of products for servicing and repairing automotive fluid systems reported that net income for the first quarter rose to $283,870, or 6 cents a share, from $63,930, or 1 cent a share, for the first quarter of 1998. Sales increased 32% to a record $4.1 million, from $3.1 million.
