FOUNTAIN VALLEY

The City Council recently voted to accept bids and award a $149,000 contract to Pavement Coatings Inc. to place a slurry seal on residential streets. The sealant will lessen the effects of age and wear by making the streets impermeable to air and water. It also will improve skid resistance. Over an eight-year cycle, all residential streets will receive the treatment.
