ORANGE COUNTY EARNINGS

StarBase Corp.: The Santa Ana provider of Internet and intranet-based products reported a net loss of $1.3 million, or 5 cents a share, for the first fiscal quarter, down from a net loss of $2.4 million, or 14 cents a share, for the comparable period last year. Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 rose to $3.5 million from $1.2 million.
