RiechesBaird Adds Junior Media Buyer
* Gino Sesto has joined RiechesBaird Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations in Irvine as junior media buyer. He was formerly an account executive at New Times, and before that was a field marketing representative and marketing manager at Sony Music.
* Paul Nadel has been appointed director of contract manufacturing sales for Amway Corp. He joined the Nutrilite division of Amway in 1980 as manager of research and development. Nadel has since held senior managerial positions in tablet manufacturing, strategic marketing and contract manufacturing sales at Nutrilite and Amway. Most recently he was senior manager of Amway contract manufacturing sales.
* Lu Kabir has joined TriZetto Group Inc. as vice president of corporate marketing, strategy and business development. Before joining the company, Kabir was vice president of global business development and strategic channels for CrossWorlds Software Inc., and held executive positions in the New Media and Technologies group at Oracle Corp.
* Ted A. Connor and Scott P. Cranny have been named associates in the Irvine law office of Kring & Brown. Connor was previously with the firm of Kolod, Wager & Gordon. Cranny was formerly with the law firm of Mower, Koeller, Nebeker, Carlson & Haluck in San Diego, where he became a partner in 1996.
* Gustavo Higuera has been named vice president of Latin American operations for Prudential Relocation International, a division of Prudential Relocation in Irvine. He will lead the company’s efforts to expand in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Chile. Before joining the company, Higuera was director for Grupo Financiero Pacific, Central America, Panama and Peru.
* Dennis D. Thornton has joined Triple Net Properties in Santa Ana as director of redevelopment and leasing. He was previously national director of real estate for Econo Lube N’ Tune and president of Heron Properties of Colorado.
* John Norris, Waheeb Linjawi and David Lewis have joined the board of directors of Sonic Jet Performance Inc., a Huntington Beach boat manufacturer. Norris is the fire chief and chief administrator of the Pattonville-Bridgeton, Mo., fire departments. Linjawi is a director with PriceWaterhouseCoopers’ Construction Risk and Dispute Resolution Advisory in Newport Beach. Lewis has held senior financial positions at several companies.
* Ron Nestor and Steve Gaffney have created the architectural firm of Nestor + Gaffney Architecture LLP in Santa Ana Heights. Nestor and Gaffney were formerly partners with McLarand Vasquez & Partners.
