The 51st annual Corn Festival sold 14,000 ears of corn over the weekend, said Gary Bird, general chairman for the event. He added that 60,000 to 70,000 people attended the corn feast between Friday and Sunday at El Centro Lions Park, and vendors sold out of soft tacos, corn dogs, pizza, ice cream and funnel cake before the end of the festival.
