Tennis classes for children between the ages of 7 and 12 will begin Monday. The four-week workshop, organized by the city’s Recreation Department, is for players of all levels. Instructor Rebecca Brown will teach students ground strokes, serves and rules of the game.

Participants need to bring their own racquets and tennis balls.

The tennis classes meet at Mackenzie Park from 6 to 7 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays, ending Sept. 13. There is no class Sept. 6.
