Sorgi Wins Sixth National Diving Title
Erica Sorgi of Mission Viejo won the women’s three-meter springboard event at the U.S. National Diving Championships Saturday in The Woodlands, Texas.
Sorgi won her sixth national title, finishing with 533.07 points. Laura Wilkinson of The Woodlands was second at 516.30. Both qualified for the 2000 World Cup.
David Pichler of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., won the men’s three-meter springboard event.
The platform finals will be today.
